Intervention Management Unit

Intervention Management Unit

Intervention Management Unit (IMU) consists of a 3-5 day stay at CHRC for people who are at high risk for lapse/relapse and would like a safe place to focus on remaining clean and sober. Many people find IMU to be a helpful service to prevent a possible lapse by spending a brief period away from triggers or stressors and reinforcing healthy coping tools. Some people may also qualify for IMU services if they are seeking assessment for Department of Counselling Services recommendations. To access IMU services, a call to CHRC at 947-9992 or 925-9992 for a phone screening is the first step.
