Caribbean Haven Residential Centre (CHRC) is an agency within The Department of Counselling Services (DCS). DCS is a government agency under the Ministry of Sustainability & Climate Resiliency and Wellness, dedicated to fostering a healthy, hopeful, and resilient population in the Cayman Islands.
CHRC offers non-medical withdrawal management and long-term residential services for adults 18 years and older who struggle with substance use and wish to build a life where they no longer use substances. Our approach to treatment is person-centered, inclusive, collaborative, and is driven by the client’s readiness for change.
We strive to create an environment that is conducive to change and one that reflects an attitude of hope as well as empathy, genuineness and positive regard for the clients we serve.
We work with our clients systemically and place emphasis on their needs to provide an individualized treatment experience. Our goal is to provide clients with the tools and skills needed to be successful in their recovery, and ensure that there is continuity of care for ongoing support and guidance.
